THE SEED OF FORGIVENESS:
God is calling us to repent so He can forgive us.
If My people who are
called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn
from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their
sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
“Come now, and
let us reason together, “Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they
shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as
wool.” Isaiah 1:18

And whenever you stand
praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in
heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. Mark 11:25
If your brother sins
against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against

repent,’ you shall forgive him. Luke 17:3b-4
Peter asked:
Then Peter came to Him
and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?
Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times,
but up to seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22
We ought to:
... be kind to one
another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave
you. Ephesians 4:32

against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you
also must forgive. - Colossians 3:12-13
If we don’t forgive,
then:

against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the
Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to
come. Matthew 12:32
What Jesus Christ has
done for us:
And Jesus said, “Father,
forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his
garments. And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they
do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments. - Luke 23:34
He has delivered us from
the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians
